APRN - Part Time
This role supports adult and family primary care visits, preventive care, chronic condition follow-up, patient education, and care coordination in the Palm Coast location.
- Evaluate patients, document visits, and support evidence-informed care plans.
- Partner with physicians, clinical staff, and office leadership to keep care timely and organized.
- Review medications, labs, referrals, and follow-up needs with a clear patient education approach.
- Maintain professional communication and strong clinical documentation standards.
Medical Assistant (Front & Back Office)
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team in Brevard County. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience delivering excellent patient care while supporting providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Back Office Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for examinations.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
- Prepare and maintain clean, stocked examination rooms.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Administer IM, SQ, and other injections as ordered.
- Perform EKGs and CLIA-waived testing.
- Collect blood, urine, and other laboratory specimens and process samples.
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, suture removal, and ear irrigations.
- Educate patients about medications and treatment plans as directed.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and follow OSHA and infection-control standards.
Front Office Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Check patients in and out and schedule appointments.
- Answer a multi-line telephone system and respond to patient messages.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
- Obtain referrals and prior authorizations.
- Scan, upload, and maintain accurate medical records and patient demographics.
- Process incoming referrals and coordinate specialist appointments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of Medical Assistant experience.
- Front and back office experience.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask with accuracy in a busy environment.
- Reliable transportation and a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or another EMR system.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Primary care or family medicine experience.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts. Weekend expectations, if any, will be confirmed during hiring.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, bend and reach frequently, assist patients, and perform repetitive clinical tasks.
